Description
The plate corrugations of a plate heat exchanger promote fluid turbulence and support the plates against pressure differentials. The frame plate and the pressing plate are suspended on the upper bearing rod, positioned by the lower guide rod, and both are fixed on the support column. The connection is in the frame plate or, if one or both of the fluids pass multiple times within the device, in the frame and pressure plate.

⒈ The control parameters for the plate heat exchanger are heat exchanger material, working pressure, design temperature, etc.
⒉ When choosing a heat exchanger, try to make the side with the smaller heat transfer coefficient get a large flow rate, and try to make the heat transfer coefficients on both sides of the two fluid heat exchange surfaces equal or similar to improve the heat transfer coefficient. The temperature of the fluid heated by the heat exchanger should be 10°C lower than the saturation temperature at the outlet pressure of the heat exchanger, and should be lower than the working temperature of the water pump used for the secondary water.
⒊ The fluid containing sediment and dirt should enter the heat exchanger after being filtered.
⒋ When choosing a plate heat exchanger, the flow velocity at the interface of the fluid on the side where the temperature difference is small should not be too large, and it should be able to meet the requirements of pressure drop.
⒌ For the case of large flow rate and small allowable pressure drop, the plate type with low resistance should be selected. On the contrary, the plate type with large resistance should be selected.
⒍ Detachable or electric welding type is selected according to the fluid pressure and temperature.
7. It is not advisable to choose a plate with a veneer area that is too small, so as to avoid too many plates, the flow velocity between the plates is too small, and the heat transfer coefficient is reduced.
